From May 1, fans can also watch the final episode of The Mandalorian(Opens in a new tab), meaning the entire series will finally be live and ready to binge. This is great news for anyone who waited to sign up for the seven-day trial, because you can now watch every episode for free.
The Mandalorian has been eagerly anticipated by UK viewers ever since it first landed in the US back in November. Now the series has officially launched on the new streaming service, some fans have been left confused as to why there are currently only two episodes available to stream and when more will be made available.
Also making their live-action Star Wars debut will be Bo-Katan Kryze, the Mandalore leader and former Death Watch lieutenant who fans might remember from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Fans of the stellar animated series will probably recognize the character's voice when she appears in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, as Katee Sackhoff will be reprising the role. In addition to voicing the character in nine episodes over the course of the Clone Wars series, Sackhoff is also known for her portrayal of Kara "Starbuck" Thrace on Battlestar Galactica.
For those who felt like Disney Plus' Obi-Wan Kenobi show didn't go long enough, Disney Plus Day includes an hour-long treat just for you. No, it's not a bonus episode (this isn't Netflix's The Sandman), but a behind-the-scenes documentary special. Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi's Return starts with archival interview footage with Sir Alec Guinness, but quickly moves to narration from Ewan McGregor who speaks in an excited tone about the Star Wars movies, and his titular role. Watching it myself, I can say the interviews with director Deborah Chow and stars Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani and O'Shea Jackson Jr. also add a ton to the project, as you see how these fans of the series experienced time on set. We even get time with Vivien Lyra Blair. 2b1af7f3a8
